this song deserves TWO '08 comments. it IS cold here in PA (where i am also, lol) now and this song always makes winter and the cold a little bit more bearable. plus it's december so i need something to listen to during the short days, and this song is absolutely PERFECT :) |

first off...the new album is simply AMAZING! and this song is FANTASTIC! :D secondly...i had a feeling there would be a song on the ablum to go after (and tie into) Human and i LOVE that it turned out to be this one :) third...gilley, you couldn't have explained the relationship between Human and Spaceman (as well as the meaning of Spaceman) any better, so kudos to you :] lastly...i cannot wait until i actually have money to buy this CD! i cant say i instantly loved every song when i first listened to them like i did when i first bought to Hot Fuss, but they'll all grow on me very quickly, as did the songs on Sam's Town and Sawdust when i first bought those albums. The Killers are AMAZINGGG!! :D <333 |

there seems to be quite a lot of confusion about whether the lyrics are "dancer" or "denser". i myself believe it is "dancer" but i could be wrong. quite a few people have been arguing that "dancer" makes no sense and that "denser" is more logical, but i'm beginning to wonder if the meaning behind "dancer" could be revealed and explained in another song from the album?? its just my theory but it certainly wouldn't be the first time the Killers have used multiple tracks on the same album (and sometimes different albums) to explain some of their songs' meanings (for example, the "murder triology") i also just wanted to clarify my last comment...i dont think that the new album will be exactly like Hot Fuss. im not completely certain but i believe i read an interview somewhere and Brandon said that the new album would be more similar to Hot Fuss than Sam's Town, or something along those lines. i have no idea where i found the interview (or statement) and i'm by no means quoting Brandon, so i'm in no way 100% sure that this is true. Human does, however, sound much more similar to Hot Fuss than it does Sam's Town in my opinion. i'm still very excited to buy the single tomorrow (acutally, it would be today now, hahaha) and i'm looking forward to the album's release :D |

im not completely sure i've figured this song 's meaning out quite yet, but i must say im very excited that it seems that the Killers are going back to a more Hot Fuss kind of sound :) as for the lyrics though, instead of "hear my regards to soul and romance" i believe its "GIVE my regards to soul and romance" and in the chorus i dont think "dancer" is suppose to be plural. then again, thats just my opinion and what i hear when i listen to the song. overall this song is great, i cannot wait to buy it on the 30th so i can finally put it on my iPod and listen to it anywhere :) and i REALLY cant wait for the album to be released, im sure it'll be as fantastic as (and more likely, even better than) this one single alone :D |
