Gardengnomes, you are right about the "not escaping" part but not from what. The song's about greed and how greed will trap you and everyone in society even our saints. He at one point mentions the free cheese min the rat trap. This shows us how our greed and lazyness in society will come back to bite us in the ass or be our downfall. Well thats my interpretation of it anyways. |

To me this song is about andy trying to explain to a girl that he`ll always be there for her no matter what and that he loves her and he wishes she could trust him. But he can't get her attention and he wants to see her eyes to be sure that she trusts him |
