It's from Dogs D'Amour's debut album 'The State We're In' (to be pedantic, the original was spelled 'Heroine'). Bam from The Dogs D'Amour used to drum for Wildhearts. |

I believe this is about Ginger spending time alone in New York, like he also sings about on 'You Took The Sunshine From New York' on the same album ('Chutzpah!'). The Jackson Whites are mountainfolk from New York, who are obviously alone and cut off from society - something Ginger must enjoy after being on the road for a long time. He also lives in New York himself, so I just have an image of him looking out at the 'lights of Brooklyn' and thinking about the Jackson Whites. |

'Jonesing' is a craving for drugs, particularly heroin. But yeah, you were right, it's comparing the loss of a partner to coming off drugs. Where did you find out about Ginger's girlfriend being called Jones? |

Not to lower the tone, but I have thought in the past that this song could describe an orgy. Maybe that's just my dirty mind. Great song though. |

This song should be called BAAAWWWWW.
Corey Taylor is the sort of retard who creates narrow-minded 13 year old metal fans of today; the kind who judge someone for being "emo." |
