Not sure if this is right or not but I think this is about not abusing your power or rather, directing your power in the right way. The name of the song gives this away: Tarot Card Interpretation & Meaning - (1) The Magician Reversed: Introduction: Even when reversed, the Magician is about making higher - and better - use of all of one's power. The reversal, however, can indicate that one is hesitant about making the necessary changes in order to use their power in a more spiritual and more effective manner. Consider what it is that you are afraid of. Is it that others may not like “the new you?” You’re right, they may not. However, this is no reason to not step into who you really want to - and are meant to - be. General: When the Magician shows in reverse, you may be overlooking the synchronicities, which could be pointing you in the direction you most want to and need to go. | Wow...What a great song...I think it can apply to all kinds of relationships. For example, this song actually reminds me of a friendship my sister and I had with a troubled girl. She had a tragic childhood past, growing up motherless in a rough neighborhood. My sister and I befriended her and man was it one hell of a roller coaster ride...We loved her like a sister, trying to accept her for who she was, the good and the bad. But every time she hurt us, we would forgive her and make excuses for her behavior, telling ourselves that "it's just her defense mechanism" or "she is just acting out 'cause she's hurting inside...she had it bad," but after years of walking on eggshells and enduring constant mood swings, we realized that the only one who could help her...the only person who could really help this flower to "grow," was herself...we got cut by too many "thorns" and decided that we could no longer take the abuse. Hundreds of people have had crappy lives, but that doesn't give them the right to hurt others. Sadly, we had to let her go, but in our hearts, we will always wish her the best in life and hope that one day, the Black Rose will flourish in a beautiful garden. | |

I love this song...As for the meaning, I think it's pretty self explanatory. Oh by the way, a note to the one who submitted the lyrics, there are 2 minor errors: in the lines: "The things you say when know there is no one else around" you for got the "you" in between "when" and "know." basically it should read: "The things you say when you know there is no one else around." otherwise, these lyrics are perfect!
