Forget About The Rain Lyrics
I know I've got to try
to look to better days,
but I don't feel right,
ya you know it's not the same.
The weather here was nice
but the sun has gone away,
tell me why those clear skies so suddenly have changed.
I don't know where I am going,
I just hope I'm not alone,
oh I hope I'm not alone.
Is there a space reserved for me,
sheltered from the cold?
Who really knows?
Who really knows?
Let's forget about the rain,
don't let your worries wash you away.
Let's forget about the rain,
hold onto the calm before the storm came.
When the sky is overcast,
the clouds the darkest gray,
I remember what I had,
oh I dream of yesterday.
So caught up in the past,
the memories don't fade.
I know this won't last in the past I can't stay.
I don't know where I am going,
I just hope I'm not alone,
oh I hope I'm not alone.
Is there a space reserved for me,
sheltered from the cold?
Who really knows?
Who really knows?
Let's forget about the rain,
don't let your worries wash you away.
Let's forget about the rain,
hold onto the calm before the storm came.
Soon the sky will clear
and dry up all your tears,
and the sun will come to shine on you again.
The pain will disappear
and so will all your fears,
and the storm that you've been hiding from will end.
Let's forget about the rain,
don't let your worries wash you away.
Let's forget about the rain,
hold onto the calm before the storm came.
Let's forget about the rain.
Let's forget about the rain.

kinda cute, this song...catchy and uplifting...although it seems like it's not in Trapt's style...maybe it's just me?
I agree it's not their typical style but I think that's what makes this song so good for me, is the fact that they have gone outside the box and made something that's dang good.
To me this song is talking about someone who relates raining to crying or something along those lines. When Chris sings about the sky clearing and the pain going away, that seems to again show how the rain is related to his sadness.
It's, like, um ... a new mindset, or something like that. It's fresh. ;D It's almost jazz-y.
this is a GREAT song though! :) i like itt.
