| Lightspeed Champion – Mr Fisk Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Its "dark phoenix" not "dark felix" the song is about marvel comics (bruce banner, mary jane, even the title Mr. Fisk) so dark pheonix makes more sense |

| Dananananaykroyd – Infinity Milk Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Man I love this song! There seems to be alot of violent imagery in this song 'You've got blood to bleed' 'And blood in the headlights' But at the same time I get a sexual vibe from this song 'A NEON BIRTH CANAL' 'in that sea of such passion' Maybe its about the first time you have sex and the persona of the song is getting ready for it 'He was really Nervous' 'God please send me courage and the perfect halter neck' The mixture of the two themes seems to point to rape, but that seems to be out of place with the rest of the album. |

| This Town Needs Guns – It's Not True Rufus, Don't Listen To The Hat Lyrics | 16 years ago |
seriously? that is the best thing i have heard. this town needs guns: a post pop, math rock indie group form oxford, hellbent on spreading the word of Harry Potter. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE |
| This Town Needs Guns – 26 Is Dancier Than 4 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
ihave3pennies explaination makes sense as the 'math rock' genre tend to experiment with different time signatures and in this case 26/8 is 'dancier than the typical 4/4 beat used by a lot of artists I don't think its about a childhood friendship. The lyrics seem to say that the persona is tired of going out to the same clubs with the same people and the same music. "and nights like this would fade to one" but it seems like this is a cycle of going out and doing the same thing every friday because although he isn't "happy here anymore" there isn't really anything else to do or it could be that he is just miserable at that time, like when you get drunk and start to notice all the dumb things your friends do and it annoys you so just have to go somewhere else, but in a few hours you've forgotten all about it and you wanna go out with them. |

| Johnny Foreigner – Lea Room Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Precious I might be, at least these memories I keep you need your wine, you need your sleep And how the stock room sucks you in, I know was so perfectly staged, wasted lifetimes in days Where is my heaviness? I think I'm losing control Cheap blue kisses we stole, where is my heaviness? Get out before the ship goes down Get off before the ship sinks fixed |

| We Are Scientists – Altered Beast Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Clearly as the title of the song it is about an "altered beast". This beast is, ofcourse, Man's pursuit of the unknown, his discovery of life and the darkness which he knows will soon envelope his soul. How will he overcome this? Altered Beast is a popular "videogame" on the sega "megadrive". The lyrics clearly refer to this "With your alarming lack or grace or grasp on rhetoric" echos the protagonists nemisis's tauting "WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM" at the penultimate moment of each thrilling stage "Im sure by now youve noticed that theres no need to move" ah could they write such truer words! As I'm sure all We are scientist fans and fans of Altered Beast know the first 2 boss fights the boss is static, Those we are scientists show this using not only a silent irony but also loud in your face comedy. Another fine life affirming song from those jovial fellow We Are Scientists |

| Yes Bang Camaro, Yes | |
| Bang Camaro – Nightlife Commando Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Another song refering to their "Frighten Yourself To Frighten Others" tour game... They would have included it in FYTFO but due to Bang Camaro's "no more than 5 words in a song" policy it was forced into what experts beleive to be one of the best songs about being a commando at night ever. |
| Bang Camaro – FYTFO Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is clearly about Bang Camaro's favourite on tour game "Frighten Yourself To Frighten Others" in which they dress up as zombie WW2 veterns and act out famous battles... The part about attacking, and it being a trap is there to help you become immersed in the Bang Camaro experiance |
| Bang Camaro – Swallow the Razor Lyrics | 17 years ago |
...but then the song would be about alchol, drugs AND sex Bang Camaro Expert you just blew.my.mind |
| Lightspeed Champion – Galaxy Of The Lost Lyrics | 17 years ago |
just to add to Haunted Devil's interpretation, the poison could literally be alchol, like when you get drunk and you suddenly get really depressed and think everything you are is shit. as for the "tension" and "shaking at the mention" should there be tension from teh fact she is drinking so much and they both know that it is an issue but are afraid to talk about it (the "shudder at the mention" |
| Lightspeed Champion – Everyone I know is listening to Crunk Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think its about trying to be happy with someone else (as not the one you truly love) and he is trying to make do. as in the final verse "its not you" and also when he says "its over" it shows that his true relationship is over not the sham he is currently in | |
| Tokyo Police Club – Your English Is Good Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This song confused me as the verses seem agressive but then the chorus is passive (thats how i read it). Or could it be about abduction of vulnerable people and how "your future is with us" trying to convince people to join then |
| Tokyo Police Club – Nature of the Experiment Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Isn't it about living in a broing town and getting drunk with a group of friends, and talking about the girl you've basically fancied from the day you met her? "We've got our tracks covered Thanks to your older brother" I think may refer to either getting alcohol or an alibi so they can stay out all night "It's the nature of the experiment" I think refers to talking to girls and how when your young it feels like an experiment as you don't really know what your doing "It's not the way my mother talks It's not the people that she mocks" could refer to him trying to break away from his family and form his own identity I think basically this song is about growing up |
| Tokyo Police Club – Juno Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I think the first verse refers to semen "salty ocean", "place i painted white" as for the rest i completely agree with sanguinolentus also shouldn't it be "wound needs ice"? |
