When I hear the lyrics, I think about drug addiction. Of course, I heard this song when I was high and going through a rough period of time with my drug habits. But when I see the lyrics, this is what I interpret... Theres a place that ive found as far as i can see this place lies within the depths of my dreams in a garden surrounded by fire and trees through the smoke a silhouette, I can barely see theres a man with an axe standing in the rain, looked me straight my eyes this is what he had to say.. When you're high, you're in your own world, but there is a lingering fear that reminds you that you are playing with fire, and could very well end up an addict or even dead. never fall asleep! you wont wake up destroy the guillotine! before he does i walk with shadows, you have to find a better way! i walk with shadows, the questions i will never say! hiding from the gallows, they keep me safe and sound! so i walk with shadows, the ways of burning down this house! The first line is saying "don't fall into temptation, because you might never come back". The second line is similar, saying "avoid the thing that might ruin your life before it kills you". "I walk with shadows" is saying that a person who is addicted to drugs is different from others, their mind works differently, and they are forever marked, and they walk with the shadows of their addiction. "Hiding from the gallows" is avoiding an addiction while playing with drugs. "The question I will never say" is avoiding admitting that you are addicted. "They keep me safe and sound, so I walk with shadows" is continuing to do drugs because it makes you feel safe. end transmission the satellites are down i need an earthquake to shake this pity off the ground just dont trust these liars at the end ones that have these answers for "End transmission" means that the high is over, and now he feels intense pity for himself and is depressed. The rest is self-explanatory. end transmission the satellites are down i need an earthquake to shake this pity off the ground all the vibrant colours i see and the shades that fill the grey! His high is over and he feels burn out and depressed, so he gets high again and the high ("vibrant colors") cancels out the depression he's been feeling ("fills the gray"). Since Ronnie is a recovering drug addict, that very well might be the hidden meaning of the song. I know thats the meaning for me. |

| The song is about temporarily forgetting about life while he's having sex, and now that's all he wants to do. Maybe it's about sex addiction. | |
| Sum 41 – Pieces Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song relates to one of my relationships so much, and about how you're trying so hard to make it work, and the person is demanding you be perfect, which means you have to choose your words carefully and you end up not expressing yourself fully. It's an awful feeling. And even if the best thing is to break up, it's so hard. | |
| Tokio Hotel – Schwarz Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I translated the lyrics to English and the chorus is about "moving forward from blackness", etc, so I think it's about moving on to greater and better things in life. | |
| Tokio Hotel – 1000 oceans Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is so catchy it's orgasmic. | |
| Tokio Hotel – Love is Dead Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This doesn't seem like a typical breakup song to me. It sounds like something more complex. Like, maybe Bill wants to make the relationship work because there isn't life without love ("We die when love is dead"). | |
| Tokio Hotel – Rescue Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| My friend thinks this song is about alcohol addiction, because in the music video there are bottles on the floor. I personally think it's simply about being abandoned by someone you once loved, but, hey, you never know. | |
| Tokio Hotel – Fïnal Day Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is confusing. At first I thought it was about the apocalypse or something, but then it seemed more like a breakup song. But I think I read somewhere that it's about Bill's fear of dying. | |

I have seen the English lyrics translation. It's basically about a relationship that ended up being a lie, and was doomed from the start, so the person is telling the other person to leave because they hurt him. |

| This song is beautiful. I know there's a translation of the lyrics, but I forgot it. But I don't care if I understand it or not, it's so emotional. One of the best songs on the album. | |
| The Devil Wears Prada – Still Fly (Big Tymers Cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is crazy xD. I love how they covered a rap song and made it metal. | |
| Kerli – Walking On Air Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I know this song is about 'striving for your dreams' and such, but it reminds me of drugs xD. | |
