i think that its about a relationship that is meant to be but nobody else wants it except the two involved. i actually think of one of my friends when i hear it. i dont thnik it has to be about a romantic relationship.

Ohk I think it MAY be about people not believing in a relationship two people may have and they are trying to disencourage them but they won't let it happen and they are fighting against it ? Maybe.. I dont know haha.
I am not sure the exact meaning, but to me this song is about a relationship that is going through some hardship and is starting to break, sounds like an outside force is pulling the relationship apart, but one side is telling the other to hold on and be ready to fight for love.

This song is about a long distance relationship where both have to keep their faith that one day they will be together again. The "please don't drift away from me" is more like a plead to not let the relationship fall apart because of the distance between them. Beautiful song.
