i think that this song is about someone who knows that they need God and they are denying it, and frankly, running away from it. without God in our lives, we are hollow inside. We search for things to fill that hole, but nothing ever will, only God can. also, it is saying that by pushing God out, you are causing yourself to stay in a rut that you can get out of if only you let him in. i also think that when it says you've held back love long enough or let love in, that love is implying God, because God is love. |

this song is one of the best songs i have heard from fireflight. the vocals are perfection, especially the harmony at the end. this song is just talking about finally letting your guard down and walking with God, letting him carry you. This song is about letting go and letting God take control of your life, which is something everyone needs to do. |

i think this song is about an argument that spun way out of control. the fight got out of hand, and one of the ppl in the argument tried to make it right, but the other wouldn't accept the apology. as a result, the once great friendship is failing becuz they are putting each other down and continuing to just fight each other, until they stop talking altogether, forgetting about the love they really do have for each other. (this could apply in a normal friendship or even a dating relationship as well). this happens to the best of us. if pride takes over, we sometimes cant admit we are wrong, and we hurt ourselves and the other person in the process. this song is clearly a cry to start over and end the fighting for good so things can go back to the way they used to. |
