It's pretty obvious what it's about, but I'll say it anyway. There's a guy named Story, and they're telling us about his life (in the form of a story), and... yeah, they're singing about his life. He's got a few problems, he's not a working kinda guy, maybe he's got money troubles? I dunno. |

Hm, I don't think it's about him using her (although I'll admit, some of their songs are about that), but instead, her being a little bit... flighty? I'm not quite sure what word I'm aiming for. But like the lyrics say, on the first date she ran away (can be interpreted however you like, I guess), and he mentions phone tag. He's got to ring her if he wants to talk, etc; and he just wants her to stop acting so apathetic, (Don’t act like you don’t care), and to be less shy, maybe. "Now baby just tell me to Say I like you I’ll say it anyway If that’s alright too" It sounds like he's constantly telling her he likes/loves her, but she isn't saying it back. I dunno, that's just how I interpreted it. (: |

Amazing song. It's kind of obvious, but I think it's just about wanting to be somewhere else, starting somewhere new, without whatever's happening there. |
