The open-endedness of the lyrics applied to the birth-life-death nature of the music leaves it open to interpretation for truly each and every individual who listens to it. Sometimes, maybe that IS the meaning. I love everyone's ideas, and they each fit like a glove. I have loved this song for 15 years, and I'm still not ready to attempt to apply meaning to this song. It remains the most exciting (and straight-up best) song I have ever heard. |
