If you listened to their songs, FATA writes deep music, the meaning isn't what you would initially think it is. Let me explain my point of view on this amazing song. I personally think this song is about the aftermath of a relationship. I think it is about actually drawing robots and fantasizing him being with them since he has no one else. "We can be alone and not feel lonely I've been drawing these robots with the pen you sent me" We and You - I don't think we is meaning him and another person, i think that means him and some person that he made up, because then it says i've been drawing these robots with the pen "You" sent me, thats where i get the aftermath of a relationship from. "Evelyn's so elegant and Nikolai's right by her side Under one umbrella, just talking and joking" This seems to me to be two people that he made up, even if it is someone he dated before and broke up with because it seems the whole song is fantasizing about a relationship that he wants, in this case that he had, but lost. But then as i keep thinking i get more and more meanings, this is really what i love about FATA songs, among everthing else their LYRICS are good. There are other songs that i hear and i see other people like them because they sound good or the singer sings them well. With FATA, it's the all around package, Fran can sing well - scream well if he wants to, and the lyrics this ban manifest are not your average, i love thier songs. Very sad to me that they had to break up. |

Editted from other post didn't explain what i meant correctly: Great song beautifully sung I've read over it many times and what i think it means is that someone is keeping a bad secret to protect another person and he is tired of living the lie that is his life but should be the other guys life - but he swore he would do it and he's wishing the person he's keeping the secret for will save him, will fess up i guess. Also, this song was on an episode of the show 'Numb3rs' which was conveys a similiar message |
