in my opinion, one of the things that make regina's songs so beautiful is the fact that they can be interpreted in so many vastly different ways. anyone can relate to it. anyone can listen to it and be moved by it. she might write it with some image in her mind, but the end result is whatever you want it to be. war, hospital, pride, truth; it could be anything i mean, any way you slice it, she's saying something so complicated and deep in such a simple way...now that's art. so i say, just listen and feel whatever you wanna feel |

wow, epiphhony 11 i'm in love with you for saying that hahaaah (kidding) but honestly, everything you said was so perfect. the intentional cliche nature of the song and the fact that the girl in the song is hiding behind a depressed attitude and a face covered in makeup. still, i think the lyrics might be pretentious but still, it's beautiful. |
