Sounds like a case of him simply despising someone for one reason or another and how he wants to take them down with him in his anger. I could always be wrong, but I think he's talking about the ill effects of when people (or a person) start to mess with the person he's always been ("a classic roundabout"). In the next line he acknowledges that it could just be him overreacting or getting "out of line." but idk |
