This song is about dealing with the harsh reality of all the pain in our lives, as well as those around us. It asks us to not become bitter at the world and to give love another chance! I heard "Ice Ice Baby" before this song and liked the music but when I heard the original, it was moving to the point of tears... "This is our last dance, This is ourselves...Under pressure." I felt like it was insulting for Vanilla Ice to take such an inspirational song and turn it into a personal anthem just to make some quick cash. It will never compare to the message of this timeless song. |

I love the Intro and how it starts off this song as well as the whole album: "Yeah, Hold on, Hold on, here we go (bursts out laughing)...Ok...NOW!!!" and then the music hits you hard. I think this song would be easy to misinterpret from a Conservative mindset... "Destroy all you see?" "Tattoo the world?" lol Some would find the expression in the lyrics questionable, But If your listening to what it's saying though, its a very positive message. it took my long enough to give this album a chance after "Home" and "Animosity" but as soon as I did, I immediately liked it. I was impressed that they started the album with an Anthem like this... Its no coincidence these guys are together, this is a VERY talented group! |
