I love this song, and it'll probably always have a special place in my heart. I agree with ClarinetDreamer on the meaning- even though it's completely pointless and it's not ever going to happen, part of her still wishes that he had been hers. but being a dreamer, she still has that little ounce of hope. |

THANK you!!! i thought i was the only one who thought it was in the perspective of the person who died cause i was thinking.... when he says "I wasn't prepared for what's to come A life made of memories And now I'm regreting all I've done But in your heart know that I'm with you" it means to me that he wasn't expecting to die... and if it was in the perspective of one who's grieving why would the grieving person be in the heart of the dead man... wouldn't be the other way around...?! so thats what really opened up the whole idea of it being in the dead man's perspective.... and now everything fits... |
