This is such a sad and wonderfull song! At first, he believes his hope in the relationship left him without him wanting to, without his permission. He misses her. She left because she said she didn't know how to be happy with him.Now he wonders if she found out how to be happy. He misses her more. He now sees that his hope left because of him constantly needing it and "dragging it around his sore ambition" that would never come true. He misses her. |
