The Foxboro Hot Tubs – She's a Saint, Not a Celebrity Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm guessing this song is about him wanting to be with someone whose is a saint and not just a typical celebrity. He's always asking her questions to be with him or do stuff with him cause shes different from the rest.
Marie, you're center stage.
you're the soul for the new age.
Those lines relate true to the title, she is the center stage and soul of the new age, not just the typical celeb of now.

The Foxboro Hot Tubs – The Pedestrian Lyrics 17 years ago
As weird as this might sound, I think it's about excepting that tomorrow is never promised and you can go whenever. Because I thought okay, "Pedestrian" sometimes pedestrians are at risk of getting hit or it could be just a person "walking" through life maybe taking their time. Especially when he says " It don't take a jesus to save my soul." He saying no one has control over when he dies and he doesnt know what happens in the afterlife. Mostly this can be interpreted as him coming to grips with tomrrow never being promised when he says "When it's my time and it's my time to go." or just a pedestrian walking through life. This song is one of my top three favorites on the CD.

Ramones – My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down (Bonzo Goes To Bitburg) Lyrics 17 years ago
One of The Ramones best. And people say the ramones can't write serious meaningful songs? psh. And yes this song was amazing in school of rock. lol Best line:
If there's one thing that makes me sick
It's when someone tries to hide behind politics
I wish that time could go by fast
Somehow they manage to make it last "
Very true and really relatable to times now. Me and my band covered this song. Sang it out like no other.

Green Day – Suffocate Lyrics 17 years ago
I agree with pyrites gliterati definatly about the fast lane lifestyle. Most of the song is very literal. I also thought it was cool how once again green day made kind of morbid lyrics and the song is in a major key all happy. Like " And I know that I will someday
And I know that I will suffocate
And I know that I will someday"
Regardless of the drinking/drug lines, everyone can relate to this realizing that it is true, everyone will suffocate or "die" someday." That's why it's such a great song. We'll written Billie Joe.

The Foxboro Hot Tubs – Red Tide Lyrics 17 years ago
I love the songs slow tempo and melody. I think it's cool how Billie sings this one, it's very different. But I dont think it's about a period. How can you connect, Disconnected from the dancehall.
Tripping on her heart of purple.....to a period?
I think it's about a summer fling or just a relationship, the guy is wondering is this passion (true love) or just a fling (tide). Don't know why he calls it red though.
