I think this song is about someone else leaving, in both a literal and metaphorical sense in maybe a girlfriend leaving him and moving on with their lives. The metaphorical sense would be that she's not literally on a vacation. "I’m sad I’ll miss it send it back in the photographs" could just mean that he is no longer a part of her life, and cannot participate in making memories with her. I'm sure all of these on here are right to each individual, just thought i'd input my own personal thought:) |
