"And nothing will be broken if your house is made of stone But you will know as I do it will never be a home" possibly my favourite lyrics ever. because of my past experiences i interpret it as being about not allowing ur self to feel sad or showing sad emotions to try and protect yourself and then realising its impossible to do. Anyway, i assummed the song was about religion, somebody questioning their religion etc. as i seem to interpret a lot of this album as being about religion, but i like the first explanation about record label too, that could be right, or it could be dual meaning.. |

I reckon it's about how we are all selfish and cruel. But: "Everybody's got their reasons; everybody's got their ghosts to fear" we are assholes because we have been hurt. normally by love, torn apart. (my added bit:) If we all had perfect psychology, we would be happy with ourselves and therefore not nice to others.. |
