The Answer Lyrics
Here we are
Burning up in our cars
And in our hearts
Better days
Sleeping late, with our headaches
Perfect weather
Congregate
Lay in wait for an answer
They're still waiting
Grit your teeth
For lucky takes as the day breaks
The blind are leading the blind
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Signal lights
Dots go dashing the highways
Nothing's moving
Radiates
Everything lasting for seconds
Evaporating
Lover's lips
Drinking late at the station
Smiling faces
Coming clean,
Wiping your face in whatever
There's an answer.
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Burning up in our cars
And in our hearts
Sleeping late, with our headaches
Perfect weather
Lay in wait for an answer
They're still waiting
For lucky takes as the day breaks
The blind are leading the blind
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches
Perfect weather
Never better days without headaches

Dots go dashing the highways
Nothing's moving
Everything lasting for seconds
Evaporating
Drinking late at the station
Smiling faces
Wiping your face in whatever

How could nobody comment on this yet? This is a great song. As to the meaning...I'm going to go ahead and be vague because I have no idea, but I'd say that it's about some moment of obtaining an "answer" (obviously, i guess) and life is good.
And the lyrics are:
With you tea A luck taste as the day breaks (definitely says "taste") The blind are leading the blind
"Lucky"...sorry
"Lucky"...sorry
I've corrected the lyrics. They are
I've corrected the lyrics. They are
Grit your teeth For lucky takes as the day breaks The blind are leading the blind
Grit your teeth For lucky takes as the day breaks The blind are leading the blind
To me, song itslef isnt about anything in particular when it comes to lyrics, but rather it's expression as a whole - of nostalgia, 'good-old days' and many other related feelings we may have about our past in positive heartwarming way. It consists or 'flashes' of the past with no order just to recall how great it felt, conveying the answer why it was at the same time, hence "The Answer" Everything is something that our memories would turn into flashbacks bathed in golden light of setting or arising sun as our dearest memories even if they could be stupid to others, but they were our greatest moments of youth. Better days, lover's lip, burning up in our hearts, every thing is an expression and isnt supposed to be fully coherent story, just exhibit of what was our love, happiness and past. This is what this one is about, and it's mesmerizing giving you the mood it's about itself.............better days.....perfect weather.........uuuuuuuuuuu...huuuuu....aaaahh............there's the answer........:)
Commuting, soul draining. Dreaming of something better (more money.) Getting drunk with friends - great fun. Next day hungover, struggling, meet friends again, to be together. None of us know how to actually be happy but we feel happy in that moment. Driving home, stuck in traffic, thinking of the fun we had, moments of happiness fading. Doing it all again, meeting a lover. There's more to life? Yes, there is. We're not going to tell you though, you have to find it.
Song lyrics to me conveys the idea that people keep telling themselves that the future will bring better days whether based on past happy experiences or sad current once. Then the line "blind leading the blind" conveys that people always hope good things in the future but blinds themselves to the possibility of bad things happening.
