i believe it's about like him remembering his parents and the got a divorce "all over a bowl of bitter beans" i notice the biggest fights tend to start over the smallest things and as a child, he couldn't understand why his parents were so upset over a bowl of bitter beans and his father left, so he didn't want the rocking chair there anymore because it reminded him of his dad and most things that happen when you're a child with your parents that you don't understand will psychologically mess with your brain, it just kind of does that but that's just what i think in relation, really |
