i love this band because their lyrics are so open to interpretation. I'm not religious, so I see something different in this song. Someone was telling me that DOD is a concept album about aliens invading and stuff, I think it's just a really sick futuristic song about how intense and bright everyone is in the future and we party with the aliens. bahahahahahaha i don't know. either way, it's totally bomb that christians have dance music that reflects their values! instead of just slow sappy overly creepy stuff. |

i love this song! it's so catchy and fun to dance to. i think it's just about a girl who goes clubbing with her friends, although she's not too outgoing which results in her not getting picked up a lot. she's a cool kid but clubs just aren't her environment. |

i think it's about taking things day by day. He talks about "yesterday's feelings" and how they mean nothing and they become lost in time, and today is on his mind. Of course, tomorrow, today will become yesterday, if that makes any sense... so he's just taking one step at a time and trying to fit things into the big picture. Not making rash decisions etc. because in the end it's just one day out of so many. and someone trying to get over something serious and weighty, more like a death or an addiction or SI, not so much trivial things like relationships. Personally, i feel it relates to SI and how I'm feeling right now about it. |
