I've been listening to this song for ages now, but it has only just hit me exactly how fitting the lyrics are to my situation right now (in my opinion)... "I played it quiet, left you deep in conversation I felt un-cool and hung out around the kitchen" My boyfriend's a complete clown. He's always off entertaining someone with witty anecdotes and shit while I stand around quietly, feeling awkward, often being ignored. Last night he went to a party I wasn't invited to. He told me he wouldn't go the night before and then, on the day, changed his mind and went. I spent the night watching Cry_Wolf with my parents feeling like a complete fuckwit. 'Everyone's caught on to everything you do Everyone's caught on to... (and I can't let you let me down again)' People have started cottoning on to how unhappy I am because of him. He's cheated on me once before - I don't know if I want to wait around for a possible second. 'cause I've seen more spine on jellyfish I've seen more guts in eleven-year-old kids' Self explanatory. Thoughts like these run through my head when I'm pissed at him. Sorry, usually I hate it when people use this to rant on. But wow, this song's lyrics are just fantastic. Bloody good. |
