| Well, I know this song isn't about what I'm about to say but I met a person and they became my friend, I knew I was gunna have issues with them but tried to see past those issues and well.. basically ignored who they were, and then over this past year I realized the kind of person they are and I didn't like it so I told them straight up that I'm done with this friendship [we've have a billion arguments and this has been mentioned before, so it's not like it's new] and yeah. The lyrics to this song just really fit her personality and who she is.. I kinda found it funny how well the two go together. Anyway. :) | |

| He's just trying explaining how the world is to someone and in his eyes it's very much the opposite of what the other person thinks. And is kinda lost because through the other person's eyes he's "picture perfect" and he doesn't see himself like that at all by saying "have you seen it through my eyes?" and .. yeah.. I dunno, I think this song's very literal, I dunno if you have to do 'a lot' of thinking for this one.. | After reading a lot of people's posts I had a different view on this song. When I first heard this song I interpretated it to fit my situation. But now that I've read your posts and the lyrics to the song, it strongly seems like this song is about either him, or someone else, who was addicted to some sort of drug, wanting to change, but couldn't. And just needed help. And it's just explaining how frustraited the people trying to help them got. Don't forget the song might be sung from someone else's point of view, he may not be talking about himself. He could have been putting himself in someone else's shoes (the person in need of help) and singing from their point of view. However, this is just how I take it. I know I've said what a lot of people have said, yet I still felt the need to give my input. Thanks for reading. | |
