I'll be the first to admit that I am not the biggest Boston fan, however the song does have great lyrics. I agree with all of the above interpretations but at the same time, to all of those people who say they feel this way about the girl and they want to tell how they really feel, I'm that girl . So, Wait, just wait. Say it when you know you won't regret it or feel afraid to say it. My boyfriend told me to listen to this song not long after we got into an argument over his use of those three words. While yes, it's nice to know how he feels, at the same time, it's something I'm not quite ready to say yet. Or ready to feel. It's messy situation telling someone you love them for the first time. You really gotta work up to it. Regardless of all of this, the song is pretty great, romantic a little cheesy, but just enough to not be overbearing. |

the first time i heard this song, a girl at my school was singing it for a concert, i was only half listening but it sounded really pretty. curious about it later, i went home and downloaded it, only to find out that this song described so much of what i usually get caught up in. it doesn't have to be just about a married man, it could also describe a guy thats bouncing between girls. toying with each girls heart only to go onto the next one. its a truly lovely song, and i can't say that i love country, but this is one song that i can say is beautiful regardless of genre. |

well, this song basically makes my life. its allll about those girls that everyone hates, and i'm so glad that pink picked up on that hatred. she satarizes something that everyone see's, but is too afraid to speak up about. to me, this song is pure genius. |
