DistantNFaded has the perfect interpretation of the song. the reason this song got to me so much is because i can relate to it alot also, but on a different level. my ex girlfriend, we've been on and off for so long but ive always wanted for us to get back together. while we were together i kept things from her and this caused us to split up even afterwards i still kept things from her, the reason for this was because i was always scared that the truth would hurt her more, stupid really! but now she doesnt want to know me anymore, because of all these mistakes i knew i was making and didnt do anything to stop them. "Falling in and out of love" - the way ive been i feel as though this is how she feels about me "Picture you're queen of everything Far as the eye can see under your command I will be your guardian when all is crumbling I'll steady your hand" considering Ive ruined things completely when we split i still seen her as like the most important person in the world and i tried everything in my power to always give her what she wanted and i still try to now and finally the part that fits in with me so perfectly, "Don't let me go" i don't wanna loose her! but i feel as though shes slipping away each day due to my silly mistakes! |

ill be honest ive had quite a few ideas what this songs about 1. ive had the idea that its about a boy and a girl who are cheating on their partners to be with each other "and we ignored our others" but as someone has said above hes obsessing about it, he wants to become more involved with this girl but by the sound of it with all the questions asked "is he bold enough to take you on? do you feel like you belong? does he drive you wild? or just mildly free?" hes comparing himself to the other guy this idea ive got for accidental babies is that he knows he loves her more than he loves his partner he is under the impression she loves him so accidental babies would be having babies with their partners so it would be accidental cos it shoudl be him and her who have the babies 2. its about an old relationship and the jealousy by how damien sings this with such emotion its shows his feelings towards it "....what about me" "well you held me like a lover" and again the idea of accidental babies he still loves her so he doesnt want them having children as hed think thats accidental as she should have kids with him my interpretation like :) maybe wrong maybe right but its an amazing song! :) |

this song is fuckin genius thats all i can say!! and i dont think the lyrics are supposed to represent anythign the title of the song is "alice practice" referrring to alice smith the vocalist of the band so am guessin that the vocals were just taken at random at what they thought sounded good with the different parts of the song! |

To me the song is basically about his ex has cheated on him and hes slept with her again and its just playing with his head, "One night to be confused One night to speed up truth We had a promise made Four hands and then away" Then he says, "To call for hands of above To lean on" talking of what i'm guessing is good to help him deal with it leaning on him supporting him basically and the lines that get me the most in this beautiful piece is... "We had a promise made We were in love" That promise was obviously to be truthful to each other and so forth but just those two lines being in love is a promise and i can relate to it so much! |

This song gets me every single time i listen to it, me and my ex girlfriend this was the way we were id do something wrong id cuddle her and kiss her until she was smiling and again and vice versa she only had to look at me with her eyes as she did and that was it... i was happy again! "And you completely know the power that you have The only one that makes me laugh" its that bit what gets me the most i could be in the worst mood and she'd make a funny remark or comment and all the tears were gone im not with her no more and until recently i was best mates with her but just like loosing her as a girlfriend ive lost her friendship aswell me and my stupid ways and i know its getting old now but i cant turn this song off because i miss her i miss smiling because of her i miss how she made me feel and this song just brings all the feelings back i feel for her! its cruel! |
