| Robert Francis – Junebug Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This song is about a man who was in love with a girl when they were younger. The line "I was the home you once tried to escape" makes me think she had an unhappy childhood/adolescence (maybe abused) and he reminded her of it. Of course, she got addicted to drugs and he left her. He still loves her even after all this time. | |
| Weezer – Can't Stop Partying (feat. Lil Wayne) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I feel like this song is quite tragic. It's about people who think they are having the time of their lives and don't realize that they are actually hurting themselves. Once they realize this, it is too late. It makes me think of rappers who party all the time and disregard everyone who tries to help them. At least I really hope that is what this is about. | |
| Kill Hannah – They Can't Save Us Now Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think it is about mental illness. Such as depression and schizophrenia. You feel isolated all the time. And sometimes you think that you are so far down that there's nothing anyone can do to reverse it. | |
| My American Heart – Fantasy Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I always saw this song as about adolescents trying not to grow up. So they live in a fantasy world and just run around and have fun all the time. I might be wrong though haha. | |
| Jay Clifford – Know When To Walk Away Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I agree 100% with cstanton. I know it is completely wrong, but this song also speaks to me as an introvert. Particularly the line "The only way that i know how to be, is slowly killing me." I feel like "Your silence is murder" is talking about how hard it is to be introverted in an extrovert world. It is like a blow to my self esteem every time I can't think of something to say in a conversation. Of course I realize that this isn't true, because the other lines prove otherwise lol. idk maybe I'm crazy. It's a great song either way. |

| The Subways – Mary Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I'm actually starting to think that Mary is an imaginary person or some sort of drug. "There's nothing in her bedroom Just a bed and a TV And it's OK If I'm in her way" idk, I'm probably wrong. haha. |

| The Matches – Sunburn vs. The Rhinovirus Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Whoa. I always thought this song had something to do with suicide. Cold on a beach make so much sense. "I blow my brains out Through my nose" actually means trying to blow all his snot out. The title makes a lot more sense now too. haha. |
