I believe that this song is about how all around us there are lies, about everything. By listening to the lies, we suffocate losing air. To me, the air i breathe is God. When i listen to lies and i belive them, I loose God. But then you have to take a breath. |

I've never heard this song, but from just reading the lyrics.....i see it as somebody who doesn't exactly do things right but finds pleasure in God yet when this person has something bad happen to them they might blame it on Him in some sort of way. They always come back to Him and are forgiven for their sin. |

to all the people that think they know everything,and all the ones that have said that this song wasnt written about cassie being asked if she believed in God....have any of yall ever thought that maybe Lacey didn't know the whole story either? Maybe Lacey had only heard the story that Cassie had been asked adn she said yes and got killed because of it.Or maybe she just thought that saying cassie was asked sounded like a good song. To me the song means that more people should stand up for their faith. Only 4% of our generation is saved and when people stand up for what they believe in it saves people. I know i would pull the trigger. |

when i sing this song, i sing it to three poeple: God, my dad, and my cheerleading coach Jeff Miller. I learned from God, my dad, and Jeff that i do not crumble i learned that strength is something you choose i learned all of the reasons to keep believing. God is the most amazing thing that you could have and im glad hes in my life. My dad is really cool in a way that he keeps me believing in myself. Jeff tought me that strenght is something you choose. "you are only as strong as you wish to be" is what he tells me. |

This song......AMAZING! in my point of view its saying that in this world today, the people who care and the people who believe are considered sick. It really annoys me to have somebody think im sick. many people call me a freak....and yes, i am a freak....im a Jesus freak. a lot of people think im weird because im full of God. If you have noticed, in all of my comments on songs and their meanings i always think that every song is about God. which is the way it should be. But you cant sue me for loving God.....so deal with it. Im not trying to sound mean but i really dont care what anybody thinks a song is about, evry song in my perspective is about God. thats what i think this song is about....other people trashing Christianity......but God is the only way.......and we are all sick of being in a world that trashes God and none of us can wait to get to heaven. thats what i think |

I LOVE THIS SONG!!! it is so deep....it means so much to me. In my perspective, i see it as a love for God and not just a regular love song like evrybody thinks i listen to it all the time and i sing it to God i can hear him talking back to me and most of the time it makes me cry cuz its just so amazing this song is wonderful many people think that this song is about love, and yes it is about love....but it is about her love of Jesus Christ!!! And thats what is so cool. I know I'm only twelve but i have gone through a lot already and i am just so amazed that i can get through it......im weak on the inside, but
god makes me strong hes all around me, hes thickening the air im breathing, im holding onto this marvelous feeling, and savoring my heart thats healing....thats what the song means to me :) |
