| The Flaming Lips – Suddenly Everything Has Changed Lyrics
| 15 years ago

i believe it's about when you have had a huge change in your life..and it's such a huge change you
subconsciously and consciously deny it, until you experience a moment when all is mundane..and there is a
feeling of a descending weight on you, realising what has changed has been so for a long time, and only now
do you feel it's full impact, or 'sinking in.' Happened to me sitting in class, depressed the hell out of
me, while realising this song and the Soft Bulletin is a top 10 most important works of the 1990s;truly
beautiful music that can change everything suddenly in its own respect. Respect to Mr. Coyne and the Lips
for mindblowing shit. |

I think the whole The Wall album is about the life and times of Pink Floyd Past, Present and then Future through the perspective of Roger Waters, the naive start and huge loss of Syd Barret, the stardom and the declaration from Waters that the band was defunct after The Final Cut (Another Brick In The Wall Part 3) and all the emotions and experiences they had together was fit into the lyrics |
