I love this song, especially for the bit where he sings
"And babble out in simile\Like dog-head-monkey-music me\Shut up!"
Hilarious and funky. |

I love this song. Can't understand why Morrissey left it of the YOR album. The last verse is great and very apt for these times of govt. cuts |

| Morrissey – Because Of My Poor Education Lyrics

A song on familar Morrissey themes - lack of love, fullfillng relationship etc. But an absolutely gorgeous tune and an interesting twist. I see it as him saying his lack of education in the ways of loving, having relationships is down to why he feels so cut adrift in that aspect of life; rather than down to any literal meaning of a lack of formal education. I love the last line "Reality is not real to me." Reality as it is for most other people who are able to have romantic, long lasting relationships. |

This is a BRILLIANT cover version. Suits him down to the ground. I love this song, he just never stops singing an endless stream of brilliant lines. And the band are fantastic too. |

| Ian Brown – Keep What Ya Got Lyrics

Haha, that's the most ridiculous explanation of the song I've ever heard. Yes Ian Brown's very politically outspoken but I don't think he'd be so parochial as to sing about inheritence tax! I think bison_libertine is dead on the money with his explanation. |
