The overall "what the fuck" of the white album is what makes it great. Oh, and the songs are amazing. Yeah, Paul said this was about the Indian monkeys having sex in the road. I love how much soul he puts into it, especially in the third part! |

I am so obsessed with this song. I have no idea what it’s about, but some of the lyrics really grab me, even though Malkmus doesn’t really fuss with lyrics anymore. I particularly love the “Chardonnay on your gypsy skirt” line. My girlfriend says that “point me in the direction of your Real Emotional Trash” is so her. She rocks! Incidentally, I met Malkmus and the rest of the Jicks in November. Nicest people ever!!! Especially Malkmus |

This is my favorite luna song for three reasons. 1: The guitar in the chorus is killer 2: Dean sounds so sincere the whole way through 3: The lyric “I hope for happiness/ I think of you” so encapsulates my history of relationships, it’s not even funny |

I hate to disagree with you two, but I think it’s just about when a partner in a relationship loses interest and takes it out in you. I’m speaking from experience. I didn’t go to Harvard like Dean, but I have had a relationship like that, and I think that’s what he’s talking about here. |
