| The most famous story in which Orpheus figures is that of his wife Eurydice (also known as Agriope). While fleeing from Aristaeus (son of Apollo), Eurydice ran into a nest of snakes which bit her fatally on her heel. Distraught, Orpheus played such sad songs and sang so mournfully that all the nymphs and gods wept. This song is about cocaine no doubt. The foil part is just referencing the common act of rubbing baking soda with water into cocaine and smearing it on the foil. A lot of coke heads will do this because it's a more intense high. Crack is made by cooking it and is a more drawn out process, he's not talking about crack. Plus you typically don't smoke that off of foil. I don't think he's talking about meth, because you don't smoke that off of foil either and it isn't exactly white as snow. I think the last couple o' lines are about coming down from days and days of being strung out. |
