| Sugarland – Joey Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I got chills down my spine listening to this song, I knew there was a deep meaning to it. I'm awfully sorry to hear your stories. My condolences to you all. | |
| Billy Currington – People are Crazy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| A powerful song yet so simply written. Two guys meet at a bar and have bullshit about life. What was supposed to be a relaxing evening for both of them turned out to change their lives significantly. | |
| Kenny Chesney – Out Last Night Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Just a song about going out, drinking some beer, and having a good time with your buddies. | |
| Shinedown – Second Chance Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Makes perfect sense! I didn't catch on to that. | |

I know there is some confusion as to "she waved" and "shooting", but if you look at the lyrics in the CD cover it indeed is "she waved". Now, my thought as to why the band chose to use those two words were to more or less, for lack of a better term, to shine some light onto the song, put something happy in there. He looked up and 'saw the light', proverbially exchanged a greeting with a higher figure that led him to re-think his life, go off on his own despite what his parents wanted him to do. But that's just me. |

I'm surprised no one has commented on this song. This is one of my favorites; it reminds me of when my first 'real' girlfriend and I split and the glimmer of hope I had that we would get back together someday and live happily ever after. I don't know anything else about this song, I've looked online and can't find anything. I assume this is Christine singing about a similar situation, or possibly being away from home from everyone she knows and missing them dearly. |

I initially thought it said "The waitress pawned me another cup of coffee", which would almost make sense, but "pour" works too. Good song all around. |
