To me this song is about not being afraid of the scary, sad, bad parts of life. She's saying you can't be afraid to make your mistakes... Probably my favorite song on Funhouse. :] |

I'm surprised no one has commented this... I think this song is beautiful. It's pretty easy to analyze. It means exactly what it says. I love the end - "You know you're just a kid with nothing up ahead, except for years and years of tears and lies" It's a good representation of teenage years... |

To me, this song is about someone who has more feelings for the other person in the relationship than is being returned. "I'm pretty sure that you've caught on" Instead of being angry, they just self destruct in a way and say "i'll always let you down", even though they were the more devoted the entire time anyway |

I agree with aprile, this song on CD is nothing compared to what it is live...truly amazing. during "Please take my life and use it, I'm ready" I really do not even know what to do with myself, it just makes me want to cry. |
