the actual lyrics in the beginning are 'Remember me when you're the one who's silver screened Remember me when you're the one you always dreamed Remember me whenever noses start to bleed' Those first four lines seriously make me get a bit teary-eyed, which is pretty impressive, because songs hardly ever make me get emotional. I really love this song. I'm not going to contribute to everybody's quest to find its meaning, but I will say that it's absolutely beautiful. |

I honestly just think that this song is just about wanting to be in love with somebody, but also wanting to be them. Believe me, I've been there. Brian Molko being bisexual makes it make even more sense. He loves the girl, firstly because he just loves her, and also because she's everything he wants to be. And it is most definitely 'I'll kick back as men flirt with you, To jealousy, I'll stay immune' Amused, abused... They make no sense. But I really do adore this song. XD It connects so perfectly with the hopeless romantic in me. |
