This is my new favorite Jukebox the Ghost song, and definitely the one that matches their first album the most. "I should have known this was coming, yeah, it could not have been more obvious. Like the flood that Noah dreamed about except bigger and more ominous." That part is magical. |

| I'm not sure why (possibly because I never knew the real lyrics until now) but this song reminds me of the Chronicles of Narnia. This is, honestly, my favorite song on the new album. I didn't interpret it as a physically separated couple. More like a breakup where they try to remain friends. And he's basically calling her a pessimist ("are you happy now that the gods are dying" and describing her broken, bitter smile). |

This song has beautiful, and slightly confusing, lyrics. I think he's kind of being sarcastic, saying, "who really needs happiness and peace?" and saying that other things have replaced that through the media, stereotypes, etc. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it. |
