This was the only song that got me through my situation. It's kind of flipped for me though, because I'm a girl. It's about a boy who had the perfect girl, and completely messed it up with her without even knowing. I've been in that situation, it's possible. And now that he's realized everything he's done, he would do whatever it takes for that second chance to prove to her he's changed, he's not the same. She tells him that he needs to let her inside of him, and he needs to talk to her about his problems rather than hide it all from her, because that's a key problem. It recalls memories of how they felt for each other, and let's her know that he knows she deserves much better, but he knows he's better now. All he wants is to start over and have a new beginning, and show her that he'll do whatever it takes to make it work. |
