I'm not sure it's about high school, I think it's just about life in general. Everyone makes mistakes, says things they don't mean, everyone's a hypocrite - it's just how life is. Forgive and forget kinda thing. The last few lines sort of contradict the rest to prove the point, which is why I love it.
That's just how I see it anyway. |

It's 'sell me down the river'...according to the cd booklet...though 'sail' makes more sense so who knows!
