To me, this is song is about trying to get over the loss of a loved one or someone close to you. But the person you care for or loved wishes for you to leave them alone or to get out of their lives completely, so they cause you a lot of misfortune, but most of the time, they will actually be YEARNING to be reunited with you--in this world, or another... |

To me, the lyrics tell the story of a depressed child that has witnessed the murder and/or suicide of his beloved mother. In my head, the mother is a frail, petite woman who is slumped with her head leaning down in an awkward position and her blood is splattered on the white tile wall behind her. The child has just found her dead body, and since she JUST died, her body hadn't had the chance to lose all of it's heat, so when he/she touches her, she's still warm. As soon as her warmth is gone, I guess the child is so upset/depressed, they kill themselves just to be with their mother... |
