I believe this song is about lovers. They were in love and she had apparently been going thru a serious hard time(s). She got scared of everything and ran. It seemed to have been taking a while for him to move on. and just as he is about to truly let go. A call from her.. I think it's about how he made promises to never hurt her etc, typical promises of people that are in love. He never fulfilled those promies which made their relationship come to an end. They obviously had been through alot together. But he had found a new love. which he is much happier with and is better. i really love this song. the spill canvas are just amazing. |

yes adam lazzarra (lead singer of TBS) slept with the lead singer of brand New's gf. they were like best friends. seventy times seven is also a biblical sense about forgiving but also refers back to forgiving Adam. They have been arguing for a long time. i believe in 2004? adam (whose known for swinging his mike around his body while performing) swung and hit his drummer in the head which resulted with stiches. BN apparently thought it was humourous and made a shirt that said MIKES ARE FOR SINGING NOT SWINGING. TBS retaliated with a shirt that said PROUDLY SWINGING SINCE 1999. the end. i love both these bands. |
