If someone is complaining about how they have it bad, is it for the attention, advice or what? And if 'everything' has been tried, what about fighting? Sure the word fighting isn't too specific, but how 'bout you give it a good definition for yourself without hurting yourself or others? my two cents. |

Why aren't there any comments for this song? :/ I think it's good. Anyways, it took me maybe a month and a half to finally get an opinion about 'The World Outside'. It reminds me of peer pressure. Like.. when something twists life, you have a limited time to fix it in the harsh public. And if you don't, you'll never return to who you were just fighting it alone. It also reminds me of losing confidence when you change. 'the crowd will not rest tonight' - peer pressure 'my own worst enemy taking control of things' - life twisting 'clock is still ticking' - limited time 'the world outside' - the public 'i cant confide in anything'/'there is no alibi to make this right' - alone '..is changing me..'/'maybe a part of the old me is left inside' - losing who you were etc., hope it helps. |

Heard "New Divide" the radio today (05/18) and my friends and I love it. The song is also available to listen to on YouTube and Project Playlist. So this song is also going to be in the Transformers 2 Movie? Anyways.. to me the first verse gave a visualization of storm.. the additional chaos going on from verse two is the mistake of hiding the reality that it's happening across this new divide (separation between those who told and those who believed) Like in Transformers, Spike's 'car' was something that had to be revealed eventually whether good or bad. :/ Uh. third comment. |

Her colors were mellow turquoise but now on the border edge of red and gray - which isn't her "style". After I ordered the album, I saw outside this one car and it said really big something else in the middle but it really fits the song. "Born to die - Live to fight." Doesn't that get tiring though? Throughout the verses it's about the different sorts of pain we get (from breaking, hating, etc) just to get what we 'need' (life to continue suffering) or want (peace over dreams away). :/ I'm probably wrong but I'm thinking: Paradise = Heaven ; Lost = No longer allowed to The whole burning thing reminds me of going to hell for not being a complete angel yourself and asking all the 'why's in life instead of 'what's. Usually last songs on albums suck and are left ignored, but this one stands out and just has to be heard. :) |

:/ beautiful. wish i found this song at least a year earlier. the story's basically like - about after you've committed suicide, people realize how much it pains them of your eternal absence as a human. your body remains on earth, the only thing left for the person that's missed you too much to preserve you as artistic beauty of misery. he/she'd hide you in the 'cellar door', away from those who'd ridicule when in the end "it's so wrong". - Wear your face has a mask - I'm not necessarily a careful listener, but shouldn't it be /as a mask/? That's what I just heard as I'm listening to this song again&again. When I read the Romeo&Juliet analogy, it got me thinking. Then the Twilight analogy made me go wtf, no offense. Simple Plan, I've never really focused on their music yet whenever I listen to them they..are like just there for me. This song I first loved for the first four lines of the verse (Sometimes I feel like everybody's got a problem Sometimes I feel like nobody wants to solve them). Since like I know people with their own situations no matter who/what they are by looks and it's just upsetting how while some get helped the rest are on their own.. I guess (esp from the verse w/ 'the city sleeps') "Take My Hand" is basically to do with saving or ending a relationship after everyone else's doubts for that love and to take his hand for things to harden up so the pain wouldn't hurt so much- but personally for me in a way is not giving up hope with bonds and in the end those people would be there for you even in your heart. At least a few times I've lost everything with friends from being unfaithful or 'for the better'. ^ that's my over-thought two cents, so yah.. |

Amazing song and breathtaking in its own way in my opinion. Morphine - condensed version of wiki says - is the type of whatever used to relieve a sort of pain. Now to think of it, it really does seem like the wish for a damned amazing kiss with real sparks like rumored. My theory before on it was a sort of escape from a pool of problems in a kiss or unconsciousness, maybe because I was depressed at the time when first finding the song. whoa took me nearly half an hour to think this through.... To whom she's speaking to, I've thought several including an ex, deceased loved one, angel and God. 'Why is it so hard' refer back to the rest of the songs of when she's felt in mourn, in need, betrayed, broken and forsaken 'Why cant you just take me' is alike a death wish to end the hardships. She's asking whomever if they feel for her, and question how they could have withstood the situations in her place. If they could help her through this loneliness and cry with her. Each song in My.December (excluding bonus tracks; fading, chivas, etc?) have similar messages and I'd think good clues to its true purpose (reason of depression). never again - never love someone again . one minute - tired of someone's bipolarity . hole - forsaken felt . sober - sanity within surviving someone's absence . dont waste your time - denying afterbreakup sorries . judas - betrayed felt . haunted - mourn of death . be still - wish of starting over . maybe - unconditional love and imperfection . how i feel - broken . yeah - in need of someone . can i have a kiss - wanting to feel loved As for me, I felt pretty sympathetic for Kelly and depressed for myself. =/ Hope life improves for all of us. The person makes sad excuses to him, which gives the naivety intention of false hopes high. Looking back when that "promise" possibly isn't commited through, he's just so angered and finds this forsaken cycle too typical or PREDICTABLE. Getting an apology would just make things worse, but what's the point of him to think that if it would never happen anyways? He makes a final deadline from being put off from the person and tries to move on for the positivity of himself. The past then hits him again like it used to when the new people that he tries to fill in that void with start interrogating him of what's wrong. Why he's so cold, hard inside, scared, what he's afraid of (that they'd do to him like his father had). And his response personally to all this would be that he really doesn't want to get a clue about it and just when he thought this dilemna was over it's not. His mistakes in the past is something he wants to be forgiven for. He worded the wrong way to her, so now he's sick to the bone because of how it may have effected her. Though he's still a bit young, all his mistakes are him to blame for, and the consequences of 'bulletproof and loneliness' is how he's still alive yet lonely. He loved her enough to marry her, and that it would've been a grand time in their honeymoon. It never happened though, since he intoxicated her with his own habits and junk since she was originally innocence compared to him. Two are their wrists intact when they used to hold hands, and now they aren't together anymore - so he lost both her hands to hold but at least he still has his heart, trying to tell himself that it isn't so miserable. While they were young or something, they used to watch Cartoon Network. Well, as a rockstar it isn't mature appropiate to just suddenly watch kids shows again, and those original cartoons don't air much anymore anyways. Growing up is harsh, to remember how much you had fun then realize how plain or boring it is to do almost nothing in a tourbus. Not that Amy hates it, but she just misses the good old times.
