| Dave Matthews Band – Dive In Lyrics
|
"Go down to the shore, kick off your shoes, dive in the empty ocean."
Go out and take part in the world -- the song circles around the environment and global warming "Smile and watch the icicles melt away and see the waters rising...summers here to stay, and that sweet summer breeze will blow forever..." Can't just rely on everyone else to fix things, you have to help out too..."wake up sleepy head" and realize what's going on in the world.

I love this song -- especially the first part of the first verse. He's giving up on love because he doesn't believe in it anymore. And once he actually gives up, he's saying he won't ever love again. I think it's just his heartbroken mood that doesn't want to love again. |

I think this song is about him just wanting to let go of everything that causes him pain and still know that he's going to be alright. He just wants to know he can do it and survive. I love this song. |

I think it goes both ways. He talks about her thinking of him on her wedding day. She broke up with him and he thinks she'll regret it forever? |

| Mark Chesnutt – I'll Think of Something Lyrics

My favorite part is:
"If I can't say a word to her
I'll blame it on this lump that's in my throat
And standing there what will I do
To hide my love enough that it won't show
I don't know but I'll think of something."
Obviously, it's just about trying to get over someone, trying to figure out how to get that person out of your mind, and trying to not let it show that it's hurting the hell out of you. |

This is such a beautiful song. Each time I hear it, it just reminds me of that yearning feeling that can really never be filled, be subsided. It's never over. Maybe it's never too late...I don't know. |
