| Haste the Day – 68 Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| My guess is that this song relates to Psalm 68. | |
| P.O.D. – Rock The Party (off The Hook) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I'm surprised there aren't more comments on this song. It's one of the more well known P.O.D. songs. The first four lines basically sum up the song: "We came here to rock this jam Spread His love is the master of plan Let this light ignite like a star Everybody in the party knows who we are" Basically they are rocking out for God by getting together and having a good time without drugs, alcohol, etc... And don't ever talk trash about Zao, they were the pioneers of Christian metal. |

Check it out, the last verse is right out of Colossians 2:8... See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. |

"Living in this world of pain Don’t let it bring you down " This song always gives me hope...one of my fav POD songs. |

| P.O.D. – Going In Blind Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
"Going in Blind" means following God with all that you are even though there are unknowns ahead of you. You just have to trust God to get you through. When they say "I don't know which way to go" it means again that you just have to trust God to show you the right way to go. "Walk the fine line" reminds me of Underoath's latest album, "Define the Great Line." It means you have to take a stand for God. If you don't, you will fall to the way of the world. You must choose a side in spiritual battle. |

| Also he knows that there is no trouble in his new life too big for God to handle. | |
| P.O.D. – Alive Lyrics | 18 years ago |

"Tell the world how I feel inside Even though it might cost me everything" He knows he will be persecuted for following God, but he doesn't care because he wants to share the truth that he has found with others. |

| P.O.D. – On the Grind (feat. Sick Jacken) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Are you kidding? This is a great song. It's about growing up in tough times/places but always looking up. When Sonny says: "I break bread with hustlers, conversate with kings Conquer kingdoms with warriors and preach to the fiends Partake communion with dealers, love the least of these" He is trying to be like Christ by reaching out to people who have gone down the wrong path and gotten mixed up by life's circumstances. Then he says "But I choose to use this mic to push these platinum plaques" meaning he wants to spread a message of hope beyond the literal ghetto and on to the ghetto of the world we live in. | P.O.D. – Without Jah, Nothin (feat. H.R.) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song says that nothing good comes apart from God, and there is no hope without him. | |
| Haste the Day – When Everything Falls Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This is the best HTD song ever. It's about standing firm in God's absolute truth and never giving up your faith, no matter what Satan throws at you. It means you would die for the one who died for you. | |
| Haste the Day – Ros King Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is about a sense of urgency. We are not guaranteed tomorrow and this life is our only chance to live for Christ. The speaker of these lyrics sees a friend who does not know Christ, but has hope that the friend will be changed. "Your eyes caught me from across the room" -seeing a friend that God has put on your heart "wish that you won't leave the same" -you hope that they will come to know Christ "something that isn't there" -without God there is no hope..."without him your whole world falls to dust" "crying out for something more" -you know they are hungry for God but something is holding them back |

| Haste the Day – Long Way Down Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The chorus is pretty self explanatory. You won't make it in this life without God. You're in for a long fall if you try to make it on your own. | |
| Haste the Day – Servant Ties Lyrics | 18 years ago |

What do you guys think this part means? "The heart will hurt when it’s crushed, By the weight of the leaves on the tree" I think it means that if you listen for God, your heart will be convicted by his Holy Spirit. That is the "weight" that crushes your heart. I think the "tree" is the cross at calvary, and its "leaves" are your dying sins, the sacrifice of Christ. |
