| Blur – Magpie Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Catchy song! :D What I'm getting at is a Magpie bird is eating all his apples (lol) and he uses his trickery (wiles) and somehow poisons one and then when the Magpie eats it, it dies. And then he's happy? I don't know, I'm probably completely wrong. |

Kind of blatantly states he wish he never met the girl but he can't leave her and he will always love her. Cute and it does remind you of school ^_^ |

Alright. I found out what a "SDT" is. Been doing research and even Damon says this is what it is. Sensory Deprivation Tank It's a tank that you get in and close the lid on. It shuts out all sounds and light, It's full of water so all you are doing is floating. It deprives you of your senses, but it's supposed to be relaxing :] |

I think it's a great song... But like many Blur songs, it was rushed like hell. "SDT"... The only think of is the Scottish Dance Theatre... So, "Sitting in a Scottish Dance Theatre" ... I have no idea. |

Well maybe it's bad because his girl is sad and that just makes him feel bad and have a bad day. Lol. But I LOVE this song. Fell in love with it the moment I heard it. |

Well they were always drunk... Of course it wasn't Blur's finest, besides, this is like one of their first songs. But I think it's a great song never the less. |

Bruce Lee man! Lol. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with a punk song... They've always been known to branch out from their main genre. Hell, when Leisure came out, who woulda guessed they'd make a pop/techno song like Girls And Boys? This song is awesome. I also imagined Bruce Lee fighting in this lol. But, Chuck Norris owns Bruce. When Chuck Norris does a push up, he doesn't push himself up, he pushes the Earth down. They never found any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq... That's because Chuck Norris lives in Oklahoma. Chuck Norris is the reason Waldo is hiding Lol, that's enough Chuck Norris jokes :] Great song! |

Ahhh. An old Christmas song :] One of my favorites actually along with King Wesalious or w/e his name is lol. |

Friend B got it. Just like "The Cowboy Song"... This song was written while Damon was high on hash :] |

| Blur – She's So High Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
The song was part of Leisure being released at a very bad time. I think it's a great album, but people were growing out of the old Madchester rock and psychodelic stuff that all the musicians were putting out... Then came Nirvana [I hate them SO much]... But this song was all part of just being released at the time. Thats why their style completely changed in MLIR because they didn't sell enough in Leisure. But yeah, this is a "sex, drugs and love song" as um... I think... Jesus I forget his name... He's some blonde hair bloke on some documentry and then Damon agreed. It's about getting high and having sex. No deeper meaning behind it at all. Even Damon says so. |

| Blur – Sunday Sunday Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It's about Sunday life in England :] I loved those character's Damon created lol. Colin Zeal Miss America Tracy Jacks Dan Abnormal The Great Escape album was... Well, very bad. Lol. Just another attempt at a 'better' Parklife. But this song is about Sunday life and traditions in England. |

I love their cover of it. Girlfriend hates it though, I always sing it really loud when we are eating out together and it embarreses the hell out of her :] |

I think Bugoff's got it. I never would have thought that "bleeps" was the bleeps from scanning an item. Great song, shame that it was rushed though... They had to hurry it along and finish it up for America... Shame... Coulda been twice as good probably. |

| Blur – Clover Over Dover Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Buckwilder got it pretty much :] I gotta say I love Graham's part in the vocals in this song... They don't say them so I'll put 'em lol. In my band I always sung this part :D: "I'm floating away, Spent twenty years upon the sea. And when I come back, I found that you took care to me." Luv it. Ace song. |

| The Kooks – Matchbox Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Ace song :] But yeah, like someone else said the chorus is about going out with your buddies, hence, "The Kooks are out..." because they'll make him feel better after a pint or two... or three... to mend his broken heart from his cheating girlfriend :] But I wouldn't say they're the best brits out there like someone else said. If Blur was still making good music [not the crap they are making now... And I don't mean the poppy stuff either... I mean good old alternative/shoegaze stuff] they would be owning them. But as of now, I gotta sat The Fratellis are doing a bit better. Not one song of theirs I don't like... 'cept maybe Henrietta... And now that The Verve is back, they are gonna be the pwnzors! Cuz The Verve, they are music. |

| The Kooks – Jackie Big Tits Lyrics | 18 years ago |

This is how I'm seeing it: "Interupt me once more, I'll take you to the cleaners" A "Cleaner" is a hitman. So he could be threatening to a cleaner to get killed, or he could be meaning he'll kill her himself. But, I may be completely wrong... Cuz I think the prostitute thing all fits in. Like, maybe he was going to pick her up, and then kill her or something. But I'm going off all this because he said "cleaners"... So I may be completely wrong. |
