Project 86 – The Sanctuary Hum Lyrics 17 years ago
It's about church leaders who cover up their dark personal lives. The girl is the daughter of the pastor who is asking her to act as if everything as alright even though he has abused her. The sanctuary hum is the congregation's concern and suspicion that some tinhgs aren't as they would seem. The part that says "god save us from your chosen ones" is saying that people want god to protect them from people who hold power in church and appear to be god's "chosen ones" when really they aren't good people at all.

That's just my interpretation.

Emery – You Think You're Nickel Slick (But I Got Your Penny Change) Lyrics 17 years ago
Another Emery song about sex, it seems. The Chorus is obviously about deeply regretting something. If you take it in context with the rest of the song, you see that he regrets having sex with a girl and getting her pregnant.

"Let's go all the way. This dark road will lead right where you want to be, you're driving, so take the wheel." The decision to have sex lead her down the wrong path, but it was her decision to make.

The verse that begins with "Your conscience is pleading..." is about the girl considering getting an abortion.

Killswitch Engage – Daylight Dies Lyrics 18 years ago
"This place is vile. We are the answer."- Horrible things happen around the world and the only way they will change for the better is if we step in and help.

"Contest the lies, we cannot be so blind."- Don't believe everything you hear. Challenge yourselves to see through people who want to deceive you into thinking everything is going alright.

"Hear their cries, don't wait 'til daylight dies."- Don't wait until it's too late. "When Daylight Dies" is a time when bad things move past the point of no return and it is too late to help.

Linkin Park – No More Sorrow Lyrics 18 years ago
I think the song is about President Bush, mainly because of the lines: "You're time is borrowed. The time has come for you to be replaced." Normally I might have thought it was about nobody in particular, but judging by the obvious meanings of some of the other songs on the CD like Hands Held High, it's definitely and anti-Bush song.
