I have always believed this was another lesson about how anything can be tolerated, if it is packaged and presented in the right way. Just like "Spinal Meningitis" and Fox "News", it's something terrible and devastating dressed up so that it's enjoyable...until you really start paying attention. |

If you read the liner notes to "Paintin' the Town Brown", they mention that it was an unintentional rip-off of Chariots of Fire, and they segue into "Chariots" out of "Cowboy" on the live version of the song on that disc. |
