| I wonder if people complaining about whether a song is about life or God or whatever it may be will realize one thing, I've spoke to a few lead singers of my favorite As I Lay Dying being one of them and I think the basic premise of their lyrics is to leave someone with their own interpretation based on the situation described in the song. Some lyrics are more obvious than others. But I being a Christian will apply this to my walk with God whereas an atheist won't do that necessary, but may apply to his or her own life and make the better of an unusual circumstance or just appreciate the song... because it's about appreciating the music, not always taking something from every song. | |
