10 months later, I realized I wasn't even the one who posted these lyrics. Heh. Silly me. |

I was reading through my blog and came across a poem that I wrote down after finding it in a photography magazine. The line "I'm an owl with tired eyes/I'm a scarecrow in disguise," word for word, is in the poem. It is called "Ethereal Sunflower" by Kara Troglin. I wonder which came first, the poem or the song, and I wonder if there's a reason behind the reference. Anyone have any idea? |

Second, in one sitting I typed out all but two or three songs from the album (because a few were already posted on here) straight from the book inside the CD case. I may have made a few typos and didn't catch them. Sorry if it causes any confusion.
And if any of you fans out there haven't seen Anathallo in concert, I highly recommend you get out there and see them! They are so talented and it's an incredible experience. |

A little benefit of the doubt would be appreciated. First, "cement" appears in this song twice, and I spelled it wrong once. Typos happen. Thanks.

"The sky is always wondering
What are these arguments about
You think we would notice
Our eyes are burning out
We should have learned by now"
This stanza reminds me of Romans 1:20. "For since the creation of the world, God's insivible qualities--His eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." |
