This has degenerated yet further. We're all drowning in a sea of shit. We are but the captains of sinking ships, standing proudly at the helms whilst the icy water closes in around us, refusing to believe it was doomed long ago. You can't compare war to the meat industry, you just can't. Its not the same fucking situation. Not every animal is tortured before death like some sick nightmare. I point blank refuse to believe that. Humans will eat meat. Would you rather I killed my own dinner instead of a factory doing it for me? I guarantee the latter would be less distressing. The animal is killed, I eat the animal. Its been this way for omnivores over millions upon millions of years. The circle of motherfucking life. I'm part of an unavoidable system, not above it. With regard to my own self righteousness, I attacked defensively. Of course I'm sarcastic. I'm British. But I'm not telling you I'm right. I'm telling you to stop telling me I'm wrong. This argument started when the pseudo radical rode in on a wave of "You're all assholes". This song knocks vegans around a bit for satire's sake. What does your previous comment have to do with mine? Besides, mankind's self destructive side is hardly applied most when it comes to processing meat. If you want to oppose defenceless creatures being massacred for resources, protest the war in Iraq or something else that matters. The chorus to this song demands movement of some kind - Its just so powerful. Awesome song. I agree with the interpretation above me though. This girls tried to ride though life on looks alone, but come up short: "you thought you had it made you wanna cut a peice of cake you gotta have a bit of blade" Talking to her is impossible; she's just on a different planet. Its all smalltalk, there's no substance to what she says: "you pick up but the line is dead" Love it beyond words. |
